Today I don’t really recognise my reflection. Just when my skin started to regain its glow and vitality the brutality of chemotherapy wreaks havoc once again. Not only have I lost some meat off my bones, my face has lost its cushioning and the lumps and bumps that have ‘moved in’ look like they’re about to grow facial features!
Spa time is now one of my favourite pastimes. The beauty therapists have to practically drag me out of their treatment rooms after my blissful time in the bubble, a welcome respite from the reality of cancer. Indulging in regular day spa activity isn’t always feasible, so I’ve brought a little bit of day spa home with me!
Just because a girl loves planet-friendly, plant-based products doesn’t mean she has to deny herself of sleek, glossy packaging. So, Sodashi, where have you been hiding? Had my girlfriend not whisked me away to Trumps Spa in Double Bay for some pure pampering I would never have been introduced! You might have already guessed, I’m absolutely obsessed with this range, not only are they guilt-free, they look and smell fantastic and add a touch of luxe to any bathroom space. These three Sodashi wonders are the perfect companions for deeply cleansing and nourishing my otherwise thirsty and dull chemotherapy complexion.
My three must-haves are:
1. Sodashi Clay Cleanser with Sandalwood
2. Sodashi Rose Mist
3. Sodashi Calming Face and Neck Moisturiser
